| Friday, Sept. 10 | Email sent to full-time faculty, announcing the upcoming election and providing information on how to register candidacy. |
| Monday, Sept. 13 | Information about the election campaign is posted in the Inside Story with a link to election website. |
| Tuesday, Oct. 5 | Application Deadline: Applications for candidacy must be received in the Human Resources Office, Fort Omaha Campus, Building 30 by 5:00 p.m. on October 5, 2004. Eligibility verification process begins. Candidates contacted to have pictures taken. |
| Monday, Oct. 11 | Registered eligible candidates with biographies and photos are posted on the College’s election web site; posters with the same information displayed at each campus location. Campaign period begins. Information about the candidates is posted in the Inside Story with a link to election website. |
| Tuesday, Oct. 12 | Communication is mailed to enrolled faculty members’ homes reminding them about the election and providing an election code. |
| Wednesday, Oct. 27 | Election day – voting conducted via the web. Voting begins at 8 a.m. and ceases at 10 p.m. |
| Thursday, Oct. 28 |
Election
results (names and ballots received) announced on the election web
site no later than noon. Candidates remove all posted campaign materials no later than 10:00 p.m. on Oct. 28, 2004 (except any run-off election candidates). Deadline for filing a complaint with the Elections Committee regarding the election process (10:00 p.m.). Refer to website www.mccneb.edu/vote for complaint procedures. |
| Wednesday, Nov. 3 | Decision on voting dispute, if any, due by 10:00 p.m, if feasible. Article on the election results appears in the Inside Story. |
| Monday, Nov. 8 | Run-off election campaign begins, if necessary. |
| Wednesday, Nov. 17 | Run-off election held, if necessary. |

Run-off election results announced on the election web site no later than noon
and run-off election candidates remove all posted campaign
materials no later than 10:00 p.m. on November 18, 2004. Results
