College 4 Kids

Lifelong learning gets off to an exciting start with College 4 Kids, an annual summer program for children ages 3 to 11, that mixes fun with learning through a wide array of hands-on activities. Weeklong programs are offered at sites throughout the MCC four-county area. In 2008 more than 3,000 children got a taste of college during fun-filled sessions like Crazy Chemical Concoctions, Art from Around the World and Insect Extravaganza.

Based on two decades of College 4 Kids success, MCC launched College 4 Teens in 2007, to provide unique educational sessions for older youth, including career exploration activities to help students try their futures on for size.

Your support is needed to help families who cannot afford to provide these types of summer enrichment activities that are so important to instilling a love for lifelong learning.
