Innovation Fund
Creative ideas don’t always come on schedule. Sometimes innovative opportunities arise after the College’s annual budget cycle is complete. The Metropolitan Community
College Foundation Innovation Fund is a mechanism to spur year-round innovation and advance student success through an internal competitive mini-grant process for faculty and staff. Grants up to $5,000 are awarded to quality, sustainable projects that can be completed within one academic year. From sponsoring Entrepreneurship Week to
renovating a greenhouse for the Horticulture Department, these
mini-grants can be the difference between a good idea and a great
finished project.
Metropolitan Community College is a comprehensive, full-service public community college serving the residents of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy and Washington counties in
Eastern Nebraska. Its purpose is to provide high quality educational programs and
services, primarily in career preparation and general education, to people of all ages
and educational backgrounds.
The Metropolitan Community College Foundation advances the comprehensive
mission of Metropolitan Community College by creating community awareness,
building and nurturing meaningful relationships with the College’s many constituencies, and connecting the College with resources to promote student opportunities and
program growth.
