Pantos has served the nonprofit community in Omaha ever since he moved to Nebraska in 2006. He was Executive Director and Director of Litigation at Legal Aid of Nebraska from 2006 to 2014, Executive Director of Autism Action Partnership from 2014 until early 2017, and Board chairperson of the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands and the Domestic Violence Council. He now privately consults for nonprofit organizations.

"Community colleges are like the first responders of higher education. They are on the frontline, every day, meeting the needs of our communities’ learners and anticipating the trends just around the corner. And Metropolitan Community College leads the pack," said Pantos.

Pantos is proud that his two 10-year old sons, Miles and Lyndon, have attended MCC’s College for Kids for the past three summers, and is excited about helping to increase opportunity for all, through the College’s mission of providing student-centered education to a diverse community of learners.
