Hometown: Redfield, SD

Education: B.S. in Psychology from Black Hills State University and M.S. in Counseling and Human Resource Development from South Dakota State University

Past professional work experience: I have worked with students and athletes for over 10 years as a coach and mentor. Watching people find what they are passionate about and succeeding is what makes me happy. I have worked or interned in multiple school systems such as South Dakota State University, Treynor, IA and various elementary, middle, and high schools in South Dakota.

Favorite thing about MCC: My favorite thing about MCC is being around the people that are here. I love the people I work with and their passion for what they do as well as their passion for their student's, employee's and coworker's success is unmatched. MCC truly is a great place to be!

Areas of special interest: I love telling students, parents, and teachers about the amazing opportunities MCC has to offer when it comes to our Trades Programs. There is a very high demand right now in the trades and these programs present incredible opportunities for those who love to work with their hands.

One interesting fact about me: I am a professional track athlete.

Programs specific to your campus: I am housed at the South Omaha Campus but I am also very involved at the Applied Technology Center. These two campuses have most of the Trades Programs (which are my specialty) including : Electrical, Welding, Diesel, Automotive, Auto Collision, CDL, Utility Line, Precision Machine, Industrial and Commercial Trades and Construction.
