The Lucky Nurse Scholarship was established in 2023 by Angela Parker, who wanted to pay it forward after being selected as a “Lucky Nurse” from a Facebook group that provided support for other nurses.
Students must be considered in good standing by Metropolitan Community College (MCC) to be eligible.
This scholarship provides funding for tuition, fees, books and supplies per the syllabus.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must enroll in nursing, LPN or ADN
- FAFSA recommended. Will consider both need and no need.
- Full- or part-time students
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
