The Powering the Future Scholarship was established in 2024 to address a critical workforce need. Utility Line workers are critical for maintaining and repairing the electrical systems and are first responders in storms. This scholarship will be available for MCC Utility Line students after they have completed the fall quarter in their program.

This scholarship provides funding for tuition, fees, and books up to the cost of attendance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students must be in the Utility Line program
  • Full- or part-time students, for MCC students that have completed the winter quarter
  • FAFSA recommended. Will consider both need and no need.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above

Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
