This scholarship was established in memory of Janell Shain. A lifelong educator, Shain was a protagonist in establishing the right to an education of preschoolers with chronic medical conditions. Scholarship may be used for tuition, fees and books.
Scholarship Criteria:
- Financial need may be considered but not required
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Pursuing an associates degree in the Early Childhood program
Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
