Media alert: MLK Day event Thursday at MCC

What: Metropolitan Community College will host the 31st annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at the Fort Omaha Campus.
When: Thursday, Jan. 14, noon–1:30 p.m.
Where: Swanson Conference Center inside the Institute for the Culinary Arts at MCC’s Fort Omaha Campus, 32nd and Sorensen Parkway.
 
Background: Rev. Kenneth A. Allen Sr., a senior pastor at Zion Baptist Church, will be delivering the keynote address.
