MCC to host 32nd annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host the 32nd annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, noon-1:30 p.m. at the Swanson Conference Center inside the Institute for the Culinary Arts on the Fort Omaha Campus, 32nd and Sorensen Parkway.


The annual event will feature keynote speaker Fredrecka S. McGlown, a motivational speaker from St. Louis, and musical entertainment by the Salem Baptist Church Men of Power. To register, call 531-MCC-5231. General admission is $15 with MCC student pricing at $10. To attend, guests must register as payments will not be accepted at the entrance. Registration deadline is Jan. 4.
