MCC Fremont location offering dog obedience, ballroom dance classes

 
OMAHA, Neb. — Area residents can brush up on their dance skills with noncredit courses Ballroom Dance for Beginners and Ballroom Dance - Intermediate at Metropolitan Community College’s Fremont Area Center, northwest corner of 9th and Broad streets.
 
Ballroom Dance for Beginners will teach students how to foxtrot, waltz and swing to the next level with patterns that give dancers more variety, highlighting how simple it is to lead/follow a dance partner. Partners and hard-sole shoes are highly recommended. The class is offered on Tuesdays 7–8 p.m. beginning June 14 and running until July 19.  
 
Ballroom Dance – Intermediate will move students from the foxtrot, waltz and wwing to the next level with patterns that give more variety, highlighting how simple it is to lead/follow a partner. Introduced in the class will be the great Latin dances, such as the cha-cha and rumba, as well as the tango. Partners and hard-sole shoes are highly recommended. The class is offered on Tuesdays 8–9 p.m. beginning June 14 and running until July 19.
