Media alert: Veterans Day Celebration at MCC this morning

 

What: Metropolitan Community College will host a Veterans Day Celebration to honor all those who have served. The event will feature Brigadier General Wendy K. Johnson as the keynote speaker.

When: Thursday, Nov. 10, 10–11 a.m.

Where: Inside the Industrial Training Center at MCC’s South Omaha Campus, 27th and Q streets.

 

Background: MCC information technology instructor and retired Chief Master Sgt. Gary F. Sparks will be the event’s master of ceremonies. Additionally, there will be a POW/MIA presentation and posting of colors by Papillion-La Vista South High School NJROTC. The event is free and open to the public.
