Media alert: MCC to host 33rd annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

 

What: Metropolitan Community College will host the 33rd annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, an event that will feature keynote speaker Dr. Stan Rone, senior pastor from Omaha’s The Worship Center. The celebration will also feature musical entertainment from Jason Wagner II, Shanketta Newsom and Ananias “Markey” Montague. 

When: Thursday, Jan. 11, noon-1:30 p.m.

Where: Swanson Conference Center inside the Institute for the Culinary Arts, Fort Omaha Campus, 32nd Street and Sorensen Parkway.

 

Background: Registration for the event is closed. There will be no tickets sold at the door.
