  • Nursing (ASNAS) - Associate in applied science, provides classroom instruction, laboratory experience and clinical practice to prepare the currently licensed PN for the role of an RN

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - This course is designed to meet the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services training requirements for nursing assistant certificiation and employment in long term care facilities. Successful course completion prepares the student for the state certification exam. 

  • Practical Nurse (LPNCE) - Certificate of achievement, graduates of this program are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) for licensure as a practical nurse

  • Medication Aide (MDA) - This course is designed to prepare the student to meet the requirements of the Nebraska Medication Aide Act, focusing on the responsibilities of the medication aide in an assisted living facility and/or a skilled care nursing facility.

  • Register for classes - Students cannot register for nursing classes. Students may self-register for Medication Aide only. Students must submit application to the Health Careers office for the Licensed Practical Nurse - Certified course.
