Nursing (NURS)

Employment in a nursing healthcare career is a caring and compassionate opportunity to serve in a variety of settings throughout our community. We offer various options to fit your goals.

Program Descriptions

  • Nursing (ASNAS) - associate in applied science, provides classroom instruction, laboratory experience and clinical practice to prepare the currently licensed PN for the role of an RN
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 
  • Practical Nurse (LPNCE) - certificate of achievement, graduates of this program are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) for licensure as a practical nurse
  • Medication Aide - 

Credit Classes and Registration

  • Register for classes - Students cannot register for nursing classes. Students may self-register for Medication Aide only. Students must submit application to the Health and Public Services office for the Licensed Practical Nurse - Certified course.
