2023 College Rodeo Agenda
Thursday April 20th
- Check in time will be from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Applied Technology Center located at 10407 State Street, Omaha Ne, 68122.
- At check in competitors will receive their packet including a ticket for lunch on Friday, a ticket to the awards dinner, event rules, a map of events, official College Rodeo T-shirt and more.
- Competitors will take the written test on a laptop.The test will consist of 25 questions taken from chapters 1-21 of the Guidebook for Linemen and Cablemen.
Friday April 21st
- Opening ceremonies will take place at 9:00 a.m.
- Events will begin immediately following the opening ceremony
- Competitors can use their lunch ticket at their convenience.Lunch will begin serving at 11:00 a.m.
- Once all competitors complete all events, there will be a mutual aid “mystery event.”
- The mystery event will not be counted toward the individual or team competition scores.
- It will consist of two competitors from each school to be paired up with a competitor from a different school to form a team to compete in the event.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
- Scores will be tallied and presented at the awards dinner
- The awards dinner will begin at 5:00 p.m. be held at A View On State Street located at 13467 State Street Omaha NE 68142.
- Dinner will be served and we will begin handing awards out at approximately 5:30 p.m.
- When the awards have been handed out this will conclude the rodeo
