WHAT IS DESKTOP SUPPORT?

IT desktop support services provide critical support to organizations to ensure effective IT operations. IT desktop support professionals utilize a diverse set of skills to provide hardware and software support to businesses of all sectors and sizes. An organization's IT support needs are as unique as the organization itself. Effective IT desktop support technicians can provide technical support for desktops and their peripherals, printers, software, IP telephony, and other networked end-user devices.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN APPLIED SCIENCE

  • Desktop Support Specialist (ITDS1) - This program provides critical services to ensure effective IT operations. Students gain a diverse set of skills to provide desktop support covering a multitude of technologies including software support, hardware support, basic networking skills, telephony support, security and a wide range of other technology issues.
