A server or systems administrator manages computer networks and ensures that they run efficiently in an office environment by tracking server activity, maintaining computer software and hardware, addressing questions about technical problems and improving efficiency by evaluating network functions. Students in the program will manage servers/workstations and the active directory in a virtualized environment. The classes can be completed entirely online or as a combination of online and on-campus courses. Hands-on practical activities are emphasized in the classes.
