Bowers Brooks Scholarship

The Bowers Brooks Scholarship was established in 2020 by Sloan Dawson to help support students committed to understanding themselves and society in their studies and pursuing careers that elevate the function and form of our communities.

This scholarship is intended to support MCC Students interested in studying social sciences or humanities, particularly history, anthropology, or politics or students interested in pursuing careers in landscape architecture, architecture, or urban planning and design. The scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, books, and living expenses.

Scholarship Criteria:

  • All MCC students
  • Full- or part-time student
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Preference for Humanities; Social Sciences; Design students
  • Financial need required, determined by MCC Financial Aid through completion of a FAFSA

Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
