Mahmood (Mo) Tajvar

Mo TajvarMahmood (Mo) Tajvar attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and pursued a graduate degree in Veterinary Medicine. Also, Mahmood attended the Lincoln East Campus. Tajvar started his career in the food industry 32 years ago and has been the owner and operator of Omaha Prime Restaurant since 1995. 

Mahmood’s volunteer experience includes serving as a Soccer coach, member of SKAL, and a member of the Metro Hospitality Association. Other volunteering experience includes the Open Door Mission and the Hope Center. In 2010 Omaha Prime Restaurant was a winner of the Golden Spike Awards which honor businesses that have been pivotal to Greater Omaha’s growth and development.

Tajvar is interested in serving on the MCCF board because he feels it is notable to have MCC in Omaha and to be able to employ the MCC Culinary School students at the local restaurants. He is specifically interested in MCC’s Culinary School.
