How is the MCC Lean Six Sigma Academy delivered?

Our Six Sigma courses blend e-learning with personal live instruction to give you the benefit of both approaches, enhancing quality. The online modules allow participants to work through material on their own schedule and pace. Students also receive the advantage of in-person instruction throughout the courses which helps to provide the individual training needed for success

Participants begin by working through modules online. Skills are then demonstrated by passing module quizzes with a score of 80% or higher. Then, participants enhance and apply their knowledge during intensive, in-person classroom sessions.

How do I achieve a certification?

Our program is aligned with two nationally recognized Lean Six Sigma platform. MCC has partnered with national and local lean six sigma experts to deploy their own MCC Lean Six Sigma recognized certificate. The MCC Lean Six Sigma curriculum is aligned with international Lean Six Sigma certifications through American Society of Quality (ASQ®), which is globally recognized industry standard. Upon successful completion of the program, students can receive not only a certification through MCC in Lean Six Sigma, but can also prepared to test for ASQ® Lean Six Sigma certifications.

To achieve their MCC credentials, candidates for the Yellow Belt and Green Belt must complete an approved project, provide an executive report and complete all required coursework at an 80% or higher. Candidates for Black Belt must complete two approved projects in addition to the coursework. Students pursuing the ASQ® credentials must submit their projects to ASQ® in addition to completing a proctored exam at an approved testing center.

Academy model:

The MCC Lean Six Sigma Academy is a progressive model program, which participants start at White, Yellow or Green Belt and work their way up to Yellow, Green or Black Belt as desired. In a progressive model, rather than repeating content as standalone courses, participants spend less time in class and save money through bypassing repeating course content for a seamless transition between certification levels.

Our progressive model allows candidates to enter the program at either White Belt or Green Belt. To enter program at Green Belt, candidates must have achieved a LSS Yellow Belt from a reputable organization and may be asked to provide documentation.
