Purchase or sell textbooks using the MCC Textbook Exchange

Please note that certain courses require access to online content. Access codes in used books may have expired. It is recommended to verify the access code prior to purchase. Access codes on their own can cost the full price of a new textbook.

  • Sell Textbooks - MCC student login name

Note - You must login with "mccnet\username" from off campus if you are selling a textbook or removing a textbook for sale.

It is important that you clear out all other items in the text box then enter mccnet\ in front of the "username".

  • Purchase Textbooks - no login required

Caution: Used supplemental items such as workbooks and kits are typically not accepted or useful in most classes. It is not recommended that you post or purchase used supplemental items.

You will also be able to remove textbooks yourself that you have entered for sale. To provide a secure method for that removal, you will be required to login to the Textbook Exchange application with your MCC student login name (must login with "mccnet\username" from off campus) and password to either enter books for sale or to remove your textbooks that you have posted for sale.

Password Questions - If you need assistance with your login ID or password, please visit the Password Station and use option 2

MCC will periodically review the Textbook Exchange records and may remove records that do not seem to fit the purpose of the Textbook Exchange application. This may apply to textbooks that appear in multiple categories or textbooks that have been listed for multiple months or a textbook listing that does not otherwise fit the purpose of the Textbook Exchange application. These records will be removed at the discretion of the Textbook Exchange administrator.
