Resume Assistance

Your resume is often the first impression a potential employer has of you, making your resume a crucial part of the job search. A great resume can yield great prospects for your future. Start by viewing Kennesaw State's "Resume Writing 101" video. Next, complete the Resume Worksheet and begin typing an online document. Once your resume is complete, print and use the Resume Rubric to check your work.

Cover Letter Assistance

Cover letters are important because they tell employers the type of position you are seeking — and exactly how you are qualified for it. A cover letter can also be used to explain information your resume cannot convey, such as gaps in your work history, etc. Start by viewing ZipJob's "How to Write A Cover Letter (Example Included)" video. Next, complete the Cover Letter Worksheet and begin typing your cover letter. Once your cover letter is complete, print and use the Cover Letter Rubric to check your work.
