The Prerequisite Verification Process is to be used by students who need to clear a prerequisite in order to register for a MCC class. Note — before using this process, please make sure you have talked with a MCC staff person at the Contact Center and have been issued a MCC student id number. A staff person can be reached at 1-800-228-9553 or 531-622-5231.
To complete this step, you need to create an email with the following items:

Your full name

Your MCC student ID number

The academic quarter you desire to be enrolled

The course number and section of the course you want to enroll in–i.e. ARCH 1010 1A. You will not be registered without a course section identifier such as 1A, SB, 7C, WW, etc.

An attached unofficial copy of your college transcript which contains the needed prerequisite. Make sure your name and the name of the school are clearly visible on the unofficial transcript.

DO NOT request that an "official" transcript from a college or university be sent directly to the link below to verify completion of a prerequisite. Doing so will delay your registration. Please use a copy of the transcript and follow the directions above.
Failure to include all of these items will delay registration into classes.

The completed email is submitted to PrerequisiteVerification@mccneb.edu.
MCC advisors will review your email request and send a follow-up email confirming the registration and/or next steps.
