Apply for an F-1 visa

An international student applying for an F-1 international student visa through a U.S. Embassy or Consulate abroad will need to present the following:

• I-20 Certificate of Eligibility Form provided by International Student Services at MCC
• Letter of admission provided by International Student Services at MCC
• Financial support documents. Current proof of support that would meet expenses for program duration as indicated on Form I-20 (i.e. bank statements, awards letters or loan approval letters)
• Passport valid for minimum of six months into the future at the time of entry
• Two photos (See the photo requirements by clicking here)
• MRV fee receipt to show payment of the visa application fee
• The SEVIS I-901 fee receipt
