Ready to Get Started While Still in High School?

Resource #1. Visit MCC's Secondary Partnership page to start the process to apply to MCC, review the class schedule, schedule an appointment, and more. The page has resources, important dates, and department contact information.

Resource #2. Registered students and their parent/guardian are strongly encouraged to register to attend an Enrollment Management Virtual Information Session which includes information about MCC’s program offerings, student life, student resources and much more. The sessions offer students and parent/guardians the opportunity to learn about the college and ask questions.

We encourage all students and parents to review the MCC Viewbook for additional information about MCC.

Resource #3. As an MCC student, students will be responsible for attending classes on a regular basis, completing assignments on time, and reaching out to their instructor with additional questions. MCC offers student resources such as the Learning and Tutoring Center, Math Center, Writing Center, Disability Services to name a few.

The online orientation has several segments, each with short videos and important information for getting started; Textbooks, Financial Aid and Veterans Services, Academic Resources and Support Services, MyWay Navigation, Campus Safety and Student Involvement.

Resource #4. MCC is committed to helping high school students to have a successful summer quarter. Staff are available to answer questions, refer to resources, and help you to continue on your path forward at MCC.

  • Enrollment Outreach Specialists are assigned to high schools within the four-county area. Their role is to recruit, onboard, and promote MCC programs, opportunities, and next steps to prospective students. The Enrollment Outreach team is happy to assist high school students in the Class of 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

  • Success Navigators are assigned to work with new students and students with less than 30 credit hours. Their role is to provide support, resources, advise, and register student for classes. The Success Navigator team will work with high school seniors regarding planning and registration.
