Students can send their ACT scores directly to Metropolitan Community College (MCC) by indicating MCC as a recipient when they are taking the ACT test. If a student did not have their scores forwarded to MCC at the time of their ACT testing, it can be requested by going to the ACT Website and following the directions they provide (separate charges may apply).
A student may also request that their high school forward an unofficial transcript to MCC if their ACT scores appear on it, these scores are used for advising purposes only.
Metropolitan Community College accepts ACT scores that are less than 3 years old. If ACT scores are not accepted, students may be required to take a Math and/or English assessment for individual course placement.
Please note a student must first APPLY and create an MCC student record in order for current ACT scores to be visible for advising purposes and course placement recommendations. If an ACT score is sent and there is no student record to apply it to Advising and Testing Services will not be able to access the student's ACT score.
To talk with an Advisor go to the MCC's Advising Page for more information.
