In some cases it also allows you to continue your search in other databases by clicking the database link in the upper right corner of the Discovery screen. These databases are marked continue.

  • USPTO - Produced by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), the federal agency responsible for granting U.S. patents and registering trademarks, the USPTO patent databases allow inventors to search existing patents and patent applications to see if a patent has already been filed or granted that is similar to their own patent.
