Official High School Transcripts

Official high school transcripts can be mailed from the high school directly to Metropolitan Community College Registrars Office at the address below:

Students may also hand deliver an official transcript from the issuing high school to the Registrars Office on the Fort Omaha Campus (Building 5, first floor). The transcript must be in a sealed envelope from that institution, stating that it is official.

Official transcripts (with graduation date) sent to the MCC Registrars Office through an electronic transcript vendor (Parchment, Scrip-Safe, National Student Clearinghouse, Naviance, etc.) may also use the following email address: transcripts@mccneb.edu.

MCC accepts high school diplomas from accredited high schools and those earned through the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Correspondence High School online program. Currently no other online high school diplomas will be accepted.

The MCC Registrars Office does NOT ACCEPT unofficial transcripts or transcripts with no graduation date.

Transcripts are considered Unofficial when they are:

  1. Emailed transcripts that Do Not come from an electronic transcript vendor (Including those emailed from a high school)
  2. All faxed transcripts
  3. Hand delivered by students/parents and not in a sealed envelope stating that it is official

Please Note: If an unofficial transcript is requested, it should be submitted to the MCC staff or department area initiating the request for an unofficial transcript.

Individuals who have not completed high school are encouraged to obtain their GED that has been developed by the General Educational Development Testing Service of the American Council on Education. For more information, visit MCC's Adult Education Program. The GED classes offered at the College are free.
