The Tyler & Chave’ Payne Scholarship was established in December 2023 by Beverly and Richard Payne. The purpose for establishing this scholarship fund is in acknowledgment of Tyler and Chave’s eldest brother, Richard Payne II, who was not provided the opportunity to engage post-secondary education due to lack of funding sources. This scholarship provides multiple steppingstones of opportunities for those that want to continue their educational pursuits. As a result, this empowers the local communities and establishes a cyclical investment of education.
Student can be enrolled in any program. This scholarship provides funding for tuition, fees, books, and supplies per the syllabus.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Full- or part-time students, for all MCC students
Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
