Course by Course Transfer

Understand how courses transfer through Transfer Nebraska and Transferology.  NOTE: Metropolitan Community College operates on the quarter term system.  Use the ratio of 4.5 quarter hours to 3 semester hours to convert quarter hours to semester hours.

TRANSFER NEBRASKA

Nebraska’s higher education institutions have joined together to offer Transfer Nebraska, a one-stop site that provides you with a list of courses that will transfer from one school to another.

TRANSFEROLOGY

Transferology is a nation-wide network designed to help students explore their college transfer options. Students can answer the question "Will my courses transfer?" by adding coursework, exams and/or military learning experiences to see how many schools in the network have matching courses that may be awarded when they transfer. They can also find out what their options are for taking classes to transfer back to their current school by using the "Find a Replacement Course" feature.

Learn about the Reverse Transfer process.
Any former MCC student who has transferred 22.5 or more MCC quarter credit hours to a regionally accredited four-year institution may be eligible for the reverse transfer program. Reverse Transfer is a process where credits for course work completed at a four-year college or university are transferred back to MCC to satisfy associate degree requirements.
