Art exhibit to showcase MCC faculty and staff

OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will be featuring works of art by its own faculty in its new exhibit, “D I M A F X.” in the Gallery of Art and Design at the Elkhorn Valley Campus, 829 N. 204th St. The exhibit will run Jan. 29-Feb. 25. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 5:30-7 p.m., with exhibiting faculty available to talk and answer any questions.

The exhibit will highlight work from instructors and faculty in the Design, Interactivity and Media Arts program. DIMA includes many art forms, such as illustration, graphic design, motion graphics, 2D and 3D art and more. 

The gallery’s hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Fridays. All exhibits are free and open to the public. For more information, visit mccneb.edu/gallery or call 531-MCC-1329.
