Transfer Information by School

Welcome to MCC's Transfer/Articulation Site

MCC provides many options to students who desire to transfer community college credit to four-year colleges and universities.

What is Articulation?

Articulation is a term used to describe the courses taught at MCC that the four-year institution will accept because the content is the same. Articulation agreements and transfer agreements are official contracts between a four-year institution and MCC to guarantee the MCC associates degree will transfer to the four-year institution.

Course by Course Transfer

Discover MCC courses that four-year institutions will accept as equivalent to their courses. Course-by-course guides are helpful if the student knows the exact class or classes needed to transfer. For the most up-to-date course by course transfer information click on the Transfer Nebraska and Transferology links below.

Transfer Nebraska

Nebraska’s higher education institutions have joined together to offer Transfer Nebraska, a one-stop site that provides you with a list of courses that will transfer from one school to another.

Transferology is a nation-wide network designed to help students explore their college transfer options. Students can answer the question "Will my courses transfer?" by adding coursework, exams and/or military learning experiences to see how many schools in the network have matching courses that may be awarded when they transfer. They can also find out what their options are for taking classes over the summer (or whenever) at another school to transfer back to their current school by using the "Find a Replacement Course" feature.

A to B Agreements (A to B)

Associate to Bachelor (A to B) Agreements provide students the opportunity to complete an associate degree while working toward a bachelor's degree. Most, if not all, the credits in the associate degree transfer to the four-year institution, often with the student starting as a junior.

Program Transfer Guides

Program Transfer guides list courses that satisfy admission requirements and academic plans for various programs. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of of the Program Transfer Guides however, students should meet with both their MCC Advisor and the School the plan to transfer to for the most accurate information.

Select the school you wish to attend and click on the link to see MCC's transfer agreements.
