MCC's Racquel Henderson 2021 Change Maker by the Greater Omaha Chamber

Omaha, Neb, Feb. 19, 2021 – Metropolitan Community College is pleased to join the Greater Omaha Chamber in celebrating Racquel Henderson as a 2021 Change Maker.  Henderson will be honored at this year’s virtual YP Summit, March 4-5.

“Change Makers are motivated, inspired individuals shifting the narrative for good,” said W. Todd Johnson, senior vice president, economic development, Greater Omaha Chamber. “We are thrilled to recognize this year’s honorees for their positive, social entrepreneurship and we join the full community in applauding the 2021 Change Makers in their drive to transform the world.”

As a college success navigator at MCC, Henderson works closely with students in helping them stay on track and reach their academic and career goals. Henderson was selected by a juried committee of young professionals who reviewed a record-setting number of applications and accomplishments. While YP Summit organizers point out they understand serving the greater good comes thanks to the energy of many, the team also acknowledges leadership is an important element to moving a community forward.
