Mission Statement:

International Student Services (ISS) welcomes and supports prospective and current F-1 students to achieve their personal, educational, or career goals at Metropolitan Community College.

Purpose Statement:

ISS reviews applications for admission, provides general immigration and academic advising, and liases with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies involved with F-1 students.

Naomi Greelis has been assisting international students in various capacities since 1999. She received her master's degree in intercultural relations with a focus in higher education administration, student affairs and international education exchange from Lesley University. Greelis holds a bachelor's degree in International Studies and a second bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Sociology from Central College. She enjoys helping F-1 students succeed in their personal and educational goals at Metropolitan Community College.

Jamie Birch
Workstudy Student 
Jamie is a current MCC student studying business start up with anticipated completion in Summer 2022. She is on the pathway to an associate's degree in General Studies and anticipating graduating in Sept 2024. She enjoys helping F-1 students reach their personal and educational goals at Metropolitan Community College.
