FAFSA Application Assistance

MCC | FAFSA Workshops

Having difficulties completing your FAFSA application online? Attend a Metropolitan Community College FAFSA workshop to get hands-on assistance from financial aid staff to complete your FAFSA application before or during the quarter you plan to attend.

Students are required to bring the following to the FAFSA workshop:

  1. Valid Government issued - photo ID

  2. Social Security card

  3. Tax Filers - 2015 tax return transcript or 1040 form (if student and/or parent filed taxes)

  4. Non Tax Filers - 2015 W2 transcripts or forms (if student and/or parent worked in 2015)

FAFSA Workshop Location Dates and Times:

Do Space - 7205 Dodge Street
Saturday, June 24   10 a.m. - 2 p.m., room 222
Friday, June 30  3 - 5 p.m., room 220

If you are interested in attending one of the workshops you MUST register. To register, submit your request via email to mnelsen@mccneb.edu with your name, student ID number and the workshop you plan to attend.

FAFSA Application Assistance is always available to current and prospective students by contacting Metropolitan Community College's Friendly Financial Aid department at 531-MCC-2330.
