FAFSA Application Assistance

MCC | FAFSA assistance

Having difficulties completing your FAFSA application online? Get one-on-one, hands-on assistance from financial aid staff to complete your FAFSA application before, or during the quarter you plan to attend.

FAFSA Application Assistance is available to current and prospective students.   To schedule an appointment for FAFSA Application Assistance, please contact Metropolitan Community College's Friendly Financial Aid department at 531-MCC-2330.   

Students are required to bring the following for 2019-20 FAFSA assistance:

  1. Valid Government issued — photo ID
  2. Social Security card
  3. Tax Filers — 2017  IRS tax return transcript or 1040 form (if student and/or parent filed taxes)
  4. Non Tax Filers — 2017 IRS W2 transcripts or forms (if student and/or parent worked in 2017)


Students are required to bring the following for 2020-21 FAFSA assistance (20-21 FAFSA application is available):

  1. Valid Government issued — photo ID
  2. Social Security card
  3. Tax Filers — 2018  IRS tax return transcript or 1040 form (if student and/or parent filed taxes)
  4. Non Tax Filers — 2018 IRS W2 transcripts or forms (if student and/or parent worked in 2018)

Spring quarter       Jan. 1
Summer quarter   March  1
