FAFSA Application Assistance

MCC | FAFSA Workshops

Having difficulties completing your FAFSA application online? Attend a Metropolitan Community College FAFSA workshop to get hands-on assistance from financial aid staff to complete your FAFSA application before or during the quarter you plan to attend.

Students are required to bring the following for FAFSA assistance:

  1. Valid Government issued - photo ID

  2. Social Security card

  3. Tax Filers - 2015 tax return transcript or 1040 form (if student and/or parent filed taxes)

  4. Non Tax Filers - 2015 W2 transcripts or forms (if student and/or parent worked in 2015)

Submit your request for one on one FAFSA application assistance via email to mnelsen@mccneb.edu with your name, & student ID to schedule an appointment.

FAFSA Application Assistance is always available to current and prospective students by contacting Metropolitan Community College's Friendly Financial Aid department at 531-MCC-2330.
