Automotive Career Exploration Day

More than 70 high school students came to the Automotive Training Center on the South Omaha Campus for Automotive Career Exploration Day.

Students visited several skill demonstration and information stations to participate in hands-on activities with MCC instructors and automotive professionals. They toured lab areas while learning about high-demand careers in the industry from MCC industry partners and tuition-free dual enrollment opportunities at MCC.

Activities included:

  • 🧲 Dent repair
  • 🏍️ Powersports tour
  • 🎨 Paint mixing
  • 🏎️ Dynometer demonstration
  • 🔥 Welding simulation
  • 🔎 Vehicle inspection
  • 🖥️ Diagnostics (PicoScope)
