The Health Sciences Program Growth Fund is to be used to provide resources to projects/education that have the intention to promote or grow programs within the area of Health and Public Services. The primary focus is on ways to benefit the community through an educated faculty, access to programming, and innovative ways of meeting the needs of our future healthcare providers. This includes but isn’t limited to assist faculty in meeting travel costs to attend conferences where the college is unable to fund the entire amount but the knowledge gained will enhance education to our students and community. Fund guest speakers and events that provide community members with access to quality programming and education on current healthcare issues and resources to improve their lives. Program promotion and implementation to K-12 students through specialized academies that spark an interest int he field of health and public services. This fund is NOT a student support or scholarship fund; hence, no direct payments will be made to students or their accounts. Rather, any student benefit would be part of a group activity or award system.
