Art exhibit features photography work of MCC faculty

OMAHA, Neb. — “Praxis: Works by MCC Photo Faculty” is now open at the Metropolitan Community College Gallery of Art and Design, located at the Elkhorn Valley Campus, 829 N. 204th St. The exhibition features work by full-time and adjunct faculty in the Photography program. The exhibit is on display through Feb. 19.

MCC faculty featured in the exhibit includes Laura Burke, Jim Butkus, Cat DeBuse, Adam Dienst-Scott, Larry Gawel, Gregg Pejsar and Sheila Talbitzer.

The Gallery of Art and Design’s hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m-4 p.m. The mission of the gallery is to provide a creative and academic experience for students, faculty, staff and the visiting public in an intimate campus setting.
