New art exhibit at MCC Elkhorn Valley Campus opens Dec. 4

OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will feature the exhibit, “Virginia Woolf Was Here,” in the Gallery of Art and Design at the Elkhorn Valley Campus, 829 N. 204th St. The exhibit by Adriane Little will run Dec. 4 through Jan. 21, 2020. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 5:30-7 p.m., featuring a discussion with the artist.

Little is a conceptual artist and associate professor of photography and intermedia at Western Michigan University. Her work is inspired by the English artist Virginia Woolf, which she explores across different media—photography, altered books and data visualization.

The gallery’s hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Fridays. All exhibits are free and open to the public.
